Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security for your DENT Exchange account designed to ensure that you're the only person who can access your account, even if someone might know your password.
With 2FA, your account can only be accessed on devices you trust, like your smartphone. When you want to sign in to your DENT Exchange account, you'll need to provide two pieces of information: your password and a six-digit verification code that's automatically displayed in your authentication app.
You can download Google Authenticator for Android, or for iPhone. If you prefer to store authentication recovery keys for 2FA in the cloud rather than writing them down, you can use Authy for Android or for Authy for iPhone.
We recommend completing the 2FA setup immediately after you've registered your account on DENT Exchange. Remember to write down the recovery key and store it safely! You will need the recovery key in case you change mobile devices later on.
To begin the 2FA setup, first log in to your DENT Exchange. From there, click on Account top of the main page, and then DENT 2Factor link.
Follow the steps:
If you haven't already done so, download Google Authenticator
Save your recovery key
And finally, bind the authenticator by scanning the QR code and entering the six-digit code displayed on the Google Authenticator app
The 2FA setup is now complete. You may log out, and log in again using 2FA. Happy trading!
